2017 calendar with new Nationals location and date: Weston SC 8-10 Sept 2017

Make sure you stick those dates onto the family planner so you claim them for RS Vareo sailing before the DIY and family commitments get marked down!

If you have eagle eyes you will have noticed that there has been a change of location and date for the Nationals.  

It will now be 8-10 Sept 2017 at Weston Sailing Club.

At the 2016 National's AGM it was declared that the 2017 Nationals would be held during Pyefleet Week 5-12 Aug.

However this was going to give the RS Vareo fleet only one round the cans race a day across a full week event.

Weston SC have generously offered to host the RS Vareo fleet to a standard RS National Championship event ie own start, windward leewards, full race series.

Weston SC have camping on site, their own caterer and bar and are a great family friendly and high quality racing volunteer run club.

Your RS Vareo Committee have jumped at this excellent offer.

The event will be shared with the RS100 fleet who will have their own start.

More details to follow in the new year.

The added advantage of the Weston Nationals 8-10 September is that is allows for better spacing with the RS Vareo European Championships at Lake Lipno in the Czech Republic 17-20 Aug 2017.
